SAT
The SAT I: Reasoning Test is a three-hour, primarily
multiple-choice test that measures developed critical reading,
mathematical reasoning and writing abilities related to successful
performance in college. The SAT I is intended to supplement
the secondary school record and other information about the student
in assessing readiness for college-level work.
As part of entry requirements, Southwestern Admissions accepts SAT
scores of 910 or above (Critical Reading + Math) from all students
except those enrolling in the LPN or ADN Nursing programs. Nursing
students are required to take the COMPASS test. It is the responsibility
of the student to see that an official SAT score record is on file
with the Registrar's Office.
Southwestern is not an SAT testing
site. To find an SAT testing location, register for the SAT
test, gather information on test dates, deadlines, or score reports,
or explore test preparation, contact the College Board.
