Southwestern Loses to Iowa Lakes

In a game of runs, Iowa Lakes got the last run to upend SWCC 82-72. Southwestern traveled to Estherville to take on the Lakers and came out ready to play. SWCC would lead throughout the early part of the first half and build a lead 15-8. However Iowa Lakes would end the half on a 33-21 run to take a 41-36 halftime lead.

They would quickly build the lead to 13 only to see SWCC make a run over the next 8 minutes that would find SWCC up 62-58. However, Lakes would answer the call again with the final run of the game.

SWCC was lead in scoring by Terrance Morgan's 18. Tyler Raasch had 15 and Laurice Ellison chipped in 12 points. The loss drops SWCC to 8-4 and 1-1 in the league.
