Trojans beat Spartans
Southwestern travelled to NIACC on a cold wintery day. Southwestern was not able to get heated up at all as they struggled from the field shooting only 38%. Southwestern’s defensive kept the Spartans in the game, but they were not able to overcome the cold shooting from the field and free throw line (7 of 13) as they lost 64-52.
Anthony Davis lead the way with 16 points. Also in double figures were Laurice Ellison and Royce Phillips.
SWCC’s record is 9-5 and 1-2 in region play.
