Drymon Resigns from SWCC

Feb 21, 2008 - Jerry Drymon has announced his resignation effective the end of the year from Southwestern. Drymon has served as Head Coach the past four seasons. Coach Drymon turned around a struggling program and made them a winner. This season marks back to back winning seasons which is the first time since 1999 and 2000. He has coached several Dean List students and All Region performers. Coach Drymon will be taking over the position Head Men's Basketball Coach at Clarke College.

Coach had this to say about his time at Southwestern "I am thankful for the opportunity that was given to me by Bill Taylor, Bill Krejci, and Dr. Crittenden. They believed in my abilities to turn around a program that had seen some hard times. I am thankful for all the kids that I have gotten to coach here. Without them, we never could of turned this program around. I want to thank all of our fans and the community for the support they have given us. I will be forever thankful for this opportunity. I know the groundwork has been laid for the next coach to come in and have success."
