Spartans Drop Season OpenerThe Southwestern Community College Women’s Basketball Team opened up its ’07-’08 season with a 75-53 loss to Southeast Community College Beatrice Saturday November 11th in Beatrice, Nebraska. The Spartans were led in scoring by Tiffany Troutwine and CeCe Wright who both led the team with 18 points each. Kim Wolfer helped out with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Nicole Meyer also added 9 rebounds.
The Spartans have their first home game this Wednesday as they host Graceland University JV’s at 5:30 p.m.
