Dylan was a multi-sport athlete at Newman Catholic high school in Mason City, Iowa. He was a state qualifier in cross country and track. He finished 10th, in the 3200m at the 2007 state championships.Dylan was also a place winner this season at the Lamb-KoHawk Invitational and the BearCat Invite.
