Adjustment of Awards

Financial Aid is awarded based on a number of factors which include, but are not limited to:

  • Student need as determined by the EFC from the FAFSA and the student's cost of attendance as determined by the Financial Aid Office
  • Degree-seeking versus non-degree-seeking
  • Program of Study
  • Enrollment Status/Withdrawal
  • Grade Level
  • Dependency Status
  • Residency Status
  • Housing Status
  • Citizenship
  • Academic Standards (Financial Aid and Student Services)
  • High School Academic Performance
  • Eligibility for specific programs outside of federal, state and institutional programs, i.e. Foster Care, Veterans Benefits, WIA, etc.
  • Available funding

Since all of these factors can have an impact on a student's financial aid awards, plesae contact the Financial Aid Office whenever any changes occur.

If you would like specific information about the adjustment of awards, refund policies, Return of Title IV Aid calculations, or academic standards, please refer to the current Student Handbook or College Catalog.
