Health Occupations Instructor (Part-Time)

Individual will teach high school students enrolled in SWCC's Health Career Academy program for the 2008-2009 school year. Courses taught will include a health careers class Mon-Fri, 7:30-9:00 am at the Red Oak High School during the fall term, and a CNA class 3 days/week during the spring term.

Minimum qualifications include an Iowa RN license and willingness to obtain a CNA instructor certification.

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, interviews will begin immediately.

Adjunct Instructors

Business Systems Networking (Adjunct) Instructor: Immediate need for an adjunct instructor to teach Business Systems Networking for SWCC’s tech prep program at the Red Oak tech center in Red Oak, Iowa. Course scheduled Mon-Thurs from 7:30-9:00am during the fall term beginning August 2008, with a similar schedule in the spring. Qualifications include a minimum of 6000 hours of occupational experience; certification in A+ and MCP required.

English Composition and/or Fundamentals of Oral Communication (Osceola center): Adjuncts needed for the fall 2008 term. Qualifications include a masters degree with a minimum of 12 graduate credits in the subject field of instruction.
