Jason Smith

Jason Smith directs the vocal jazz ensembles Audio Radiance and Corner Market in addition to his classroom teaching duties at the School for Music Vocations. He previously taught at Washington State University (WA), Foothill College (CA), and at the Phil Mattson School in Spokane (WA).

Mr. Smith was nominated for a Grammy in 1985 as a member of the P.M. Singers. He has worked as an arranger, studio singer, and pianist in the San Francisco Bay area and performed with jazz artists such as Bobby McFerrin, Richie Cole, Rob McConell, Bonnie Herman, Don Shelton and Clare Fischer.

He has produced two CD recordings by Audio Radiance, "Fragile" and "Audio Radiance for the Radio Audience," which are available for purchase through the School for Music Vocations.
