Each educational area in Iowa has a Regional Tech Prep Coordinator. Mindy Dresback is the Area 14 Regional Coordinator. This position and program is funded by a grant under Title II of the Carl D. Perkins Vocational-Technical Education Act of 1998. Funds are administered through the Iowa Department of Education, and Southwestern Community College acts as the fiscal agent. The purpose of the grant is to provide assistance to members of the consortia for the development, improvement, and support of Tech Prep education programs of studies.
