Three SWCC Student Senate members attended the 27th Iowa Association for Community College Trustees (IACCT) Student Legislative Seminar in Des Moines on Wed., January 28, 2015.

Welding Art--Reindeer and Sleigh

Students in the Southwestern Community College welding program faced off in a little friendly competition last week as they created projects that were judged in a holiday art contest.  The projects were on display in the Technical Center Friday. Here is a sampling of their work.

2014 Chamber Choir
The Southwestern Community College School for Music Vocations’ Chamber Singers will present Holiday Carols in Concert on Sun., December 14, at 7:30 p.m., in the SWCC Performing Arts Center. The concert will feature favorite carols and masterworks by Mendelssohn, Debussy, Brahms, Christiansen, Mattson, and Burt.  The concert will be directed by Tommy Boynton.

Admission for this event is $10 per person.  Students and seniors are $5 per person.
