Transfer Day was held Wednesday, February 26 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., in room 180 of the Instructional Center. Representatives from 16 colleges and universities were in attendance to provide SWCC students with information on transfer opportunities at their institutions. There were 91 SWCC students who attended Transfer Day, and a variety of door prizes from the various colleges and universities were awarded.

 

The SWCC Disc Golf Club is hosting an indoor tournament on Saturday, March 1, with registration starting at 5:30 p.m. in the SWCC Student Center Gym.  The tournament is free and open to the public. All ages and skill levels welcome. Participants are asked to wear gym-friendly, non-marking shoes.

 

 

TransferDay 2014Southwestern’s annual Transfer Day will be held this Wed., February 26, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., in room 180 of the Instructional Center.  At Transfer Day, SWCC students and advisors have opportunities to talk with transfer representatives from many four year colleges and universities. 

The DNR Regulations for Your Farm livestock producer workshop originally scheduled for this evening, February 20, 2014, has been POSTPONED to Tues., March 4, 2014, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Allied Health and Science Center on the SWCC campus.

The Osceola high school carpentry program is hosting a Chili Cook-Off tonight at the Osceola Center starting at 5:30 p.m. 

The program is hosting the event to raise funds for their Spring Break rebuild trip to north eastern Kentucky. They will be framing houses for individuals who lost their homes during the 2012 tornadoes that went through that area of the country and destroyed more than 200 homes.

The SWCC Drama Club would like to invite SWCC students to audition for Rumors, a hilarious play by Neil Simon. The play will be performed on April 11, and will be a hilarious and fun adventure!

If you would like to be a part of the play (and you do not have to be a member of the Drama Club), please come to auditions!

When: Friday 3-6 p.m. & Saturday 12-3 p.m.

Parts will be posted outside Kelly Franklin’s office on Monday morning (2/10/14).
