Two big Pay it Forward (PIF) Week activities took place in the last two days.  Both ended up extremely successful.

On Tues., April 22, the SWCC Student Senate hosted a Red Cross Blood Drive.  The goal of the Blood Drive was to raise at least 43 units of blood.  By the end of the day, the Red Cross went home with 55 units of blood; therefore, the Student Senate finished 12 units above goal for the day!!  Thanks to all the donors and volunteers who made this day a success!

Get involved!  Whether you Pay it Forward on your own, with a group of friends, or during one of the large group activities, encourage positive behaviors and service to the community throughout the week.

Congratulations to Kelly Franklin and the SWCC Drama Club on a job well done on their production of Neil Simon's Rumors. More than 100 people attended the single performance last Friday evening. Franklin said with the profits from the ticket sales the club is already excited and planning for next year.

PIF shirtPay it Forward (PIF) Week is coming!  It’s an annual tradition at SWCC and it’s scheduled for April 21-25, 2014!  If you’d like to order a PIF T-shirt for this year’s festivities, the cost is $8 per shirt or $10 for XXL and larger sizes.  Shirts must be pre-ordered using the PIF Online T-shirt Order Form--SORRY, THE ORDER DEADLINE HAS PASSED--and paid for by Thurs., April 3!

For those of you who are new to SWCC, during PIF Week, SWCC students, faculty, and staff get involved by encouraging positive behaviors and service to the community.  The hope is that these efforts will ripple and spread community-wide in Creston, Osceola, and Red Oak.

If questions, please contact Caitlyn Lesan.
