Construction Week is celebrated in Iowa from October 3-7, 2016.  In honor of Construction Week, Southwestern Community College celebrates the builders in the college's carpentry and building trades program.

According to the Master Builders of Iowa Web site, Construction Week was created to raise awareness of the vast opportunities available in the construction industry and to promote the industry as a safe, exciting, and rewarding career option.
