Brenen Roebuck, a high-energy guard from Ralston, NE, signed a National Letter of Intent with Southwestern yesterday. Roebuck caught the eye of head coach Mike Holmes with his understanding of the game, especially on the defensive end of the floor, and his consistent hustle. Roebuck is a guard who can get to the basket, handle the ball, and hit the outside shot on occasion. Despite several verbal commitments, Roebuck is the first official signing for the Spartans. He will join eight incoming freshmen in this year’s recruiting class.
