Southwestern used a 23-6 run late in the first half to take a 50-38 lead into the break against Wentworth Military Academy on Saturday, January 10 in Creston.  Another big run to start the second half allowed the Spartans to get heavy minutes for everyone in uniform as they coasted to a 103-89 victory.  “When we really committed to defending that was the difference in the game.  As we head into league play the margin of error is too small for us to have lapses like we did today,” Said Coach Todd Lorensen.
