On Monday, September 22, the Spartan golf team traveled to Polk City to participate in the Grand View University Invite. Spartan golfers Matt Righi, Chasen Selsor, and Delson Grantham competed in the event, held at one of Iowa’s most difficult golf courses, Tournament Club of Iowa, against some of the state’s more elite golf programs. With beautiful weather and low winds, the only real challenges were difficult pin placements and fast greens. Righi led the Spartans with a very respectable 82.

The Spartans will be attending the AIB Invite at Lake Panorama starting on Friday for weekend tournament. The course will provide a beautiful backdrop for the team to improve on their scores.
