OdysseyDay ForWebSouthwestern Community College is hosting a National Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Day Odyssey on October 18, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the automotive area of the Instructional Center on the Creston campus.  High school groups and the general public are invited to attend.

The event will focus on looking at the use of alternative fuels and learning about advanced technology vehicles.  Visitors to campus will browse alternative fuel displays in the automotive area and listen to guest speakers explain a number of "green" topics.  Lunch will be served.
