The Concert Choir studies and performs significant choral repertoire including larger works by major composers and contemporary compositions. Open to all students by audition, the choir performs frequently and takes an extended annual tour in late fall. Applied voice lessons are required of all members. Ryan Howe conducts.
The Chamber Singers is a select vocal ensemble specializing in vocal chamber works from the Renaissance to the present. Emphasis is on developing stylistic awareness, aesthetic sensitivity and a mature musicianship in each singer. The Chamber Singers perform and record extensively. Concurrent enrollment in the Concert Choir is required.
Audio Radiance is a six- to eight-member vocal ensemble focusing on R&B/Soul literature. Directed by Jason Smith, Audio Radiance performs in regional concerts, and tours nationally each spring. Open to all students by audition.
Harmonic Convergence is a six- to seven-member vocal ensemble focusing on a variety of vocal jazz literature, both a cappella and with rhythm section. Harmonic Convergence performs in regional concerts, and tours nationally each spring. Directed by Lucas Mattson, the ensemble is open to all students by audition.
