Students working on car
Demand is high for automotive technicians to perform maintenance and light repairs on today’s high-tech automobiles.  SWCC's auto technology Career Academy remains popular every year with near maximum enrollment.  The program is held at SWCC's Creston campus.

High school students from Creston, East Union, Lenox, Mt. Ayr, Nodaway Valley, Orient-Macksburg, Southwest Valley, and Winterset participate in the program. Students have participated and placed high each year in the Ford AAA Contest and the auto skills contest in Ankeny.
