High School Health ClassThe health science Career Academy program allows juniors and seniors to explore health careers and earn articulation credit and/or concurrent credit in a health-related field.  Students earn CNA certification during Career Academy coursework.

First year classes include health I (careers), health II (Certified Nursing Assistant), and medical terminology. Second year classes include pharmacology basics, introduction to computers, and introduction to psychology.

Classes are held at locations throughout the Green Hills AEA Region 14 area including Corning, Creston, Leon, Osceola, and Red Oak.

HSC 110 Introduction to Health Occupations-3 credits
HSC 114 Medical Terminology-3 credits

Year 1- Spring
HSC 172 Nurse Aide-3 credits
PNN 208 Pharmacology Basics-3 credits
