Head Spartan Baseball Coach Pedro Hernandez has released the schedule for the upcoming 2017 spring baseball season.  The first portion of the season will consist of non-conference play through February and March. During this time, the Spartans will have three weekends on the road, playing games in Oklahoma and Kansas. Their first home game is scheduled for March 12 at 1 p.m. against Southeastern Community College.

For the upcoming season, the Spartans will be competing as a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I team.  Their first conference game is set for April 1 at 2 p.m. at home against Marshalltown Community College.

"This year's schedule is filled with a lot of talented  opponents and will be a great test for our team," commented Hernandez. "With us moving to Division I, our schedule will have a different look and I think our guys are up for the task. I can't wait for this upcoming season. We have a very talented group and I am excited to see how they are going to contribute this spring."
