A combination of poor shooting and turnovers against Southeast created a large deficit for the Spartans to overcome. The first half ended with the Spartans down 38-14. In the second half, the Spartan shooting was much improved as they outscored them 25-22 but it was too little too late. The final score left the Spartans with another loss, 61-39. Freshman Peyton Russell ended the game with 11 points and five rebounds. Sophomore Darian Polson led the team in scoring with 12 points and five rebounds.
