Back row:  Lindsay Stumpff, SWCC head softball coach; Darin Monroe, SWCC assistant softball coach

Position: Pitcher
High School: Corning High School
High School Honors/Awards: Lyndsay was second team all-conference selection as a pitcher in 2010 and a four-time varsity letter winner for Corning High School.
Comments from Coach Stumpff: Lyndsay is a pitcher that I believe is very underrated.  She comes from an excellent conference and shows great numbers against quality teams.  She is a player that can come in late in the game or start a game and own it.  She has tremendous control over her pitches and will be a great asset to the Spartan softball team.

High School Honors/Awards:  Danyielle received honorable mention 3A all state and first team all district as a junior.  She was a three-time all-conference selection, three-time academic all-conference selection, and was voted team's offensive MVP two times and overall MVP in 2010.
Comments from Coach Stumpff:  Offensively, Danyielle is an explosive player.  She hits with power and will be an excellent four or five spot hitter.  On the defensive side of the ball, Danyielle is extremely versatile and has the ability to play either corner.

Southwestern Community College's Head Softball Coach Lindsay Stumpff welcomed the college's largest recruiting class ever to campus on Saturday for SWCC's Softball Signing Day 2011. Fourteen recruits and their families were in attendance. The future students signed as a group and will all be joining the team in August 2011. Stumpff told the girls and their parents they were there not only because they are great athletes, but also because they are all strong in the classroom as well. Bill Krejci, SWCC's athletic director, reiterated the coach's point, stating, "What she (Lindsay Stumpff) is doing with the girls on and off the field is outstanding." Krejci continued, "We want academics to be number one for all of you."
