Edgington Cole

Another Indianola High School graduate—Cole Edgington—has committed to the Southwestern Community College (SWCC) sports shooting program for the 2014-15 academic year. Edgington will be the sixth Indianola native to join SWCC’s sports shooting program in the last two years.

During high school, Edgington was active in Future Farmers of America (FFA) and a member of the trap shooting team. He is the son of Tawnya McNeeley and Gene Edgington.

Edgington joins Austin Breese, a 2014 Indianola High School graduate, as well as Jordan Brand, Ethan Jolliff, Matt Mitchell, and Trenton Cheers, all 2013 Indianola High School graduates, on the SWCC sports shooting team.

Charlie Mundy, SWCC sports shooting coach, is elated to have his latest Indianola grad on the team.

“Cole is another great recruit from the Indianola trap team, and I can’t wait to see him on the firing line,” Mundy stated. “Indianola has a great coaching staff and with the Indianola crew on our team at SWCC, it should make for a great season this fall.”

Edgington plans to study ag business at SWCC.
