The Spartans went in at half time against Ellsworth down six with the score being 27-21, but the biggest problem was stopping them from getting offensive rebounds for second chance opportunities. Ellsworth out-rebounded the Spartans and 19 of their 41 rebounds were offensive. The spartans lost 71-51.

Head Coach Addae Houston said, “We did a better job of keeping them from getting offensive rebounds in the second half, but they got hot from three and that helped created big enough lead that we could not recover from.”

Darian Polson recorded another double-double on the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the loss. Morgan Knorr lead scored a team high 19 points along with four rebounds and four assists.
