Individual will be responsible for working at the circulation desk and performing necessary computer, clerical, recordkeeping, and public relations tasks needed to serve the library customers. Individual will also use standard office equipment, library databases, and classroom technologies. Must have excellent customer skills.
Qualifications include an associate degree. Previous library experience is preferred and demonstrated knowledge and abilities to successfully perform the assigned duties. One year of experience as a library assistant may be substituted for the post-secondary education requirement.
The position is part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week; 3:30–8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Fridays, during the fall and spring terms and 9 a.m.–1 p.m. during the summer. Review of applications will begin Thursday, November 7, and will continue until the position is filled.
