Last Wednesday night, 30 faculty members, staff members, and student ambassadors came together for a telemarketing recruitment night.  Throughout the evening, approximately 532 calls were made to prospective students and applicants.  Of the calls that were made, 211 calls were successful, meaning the staff member spoke directly to the student or potential student.  When the students were not available, callers either left a message on an answering machine or with a family member.  Admissions did receive some calls back during the days following the event and there are employees and instructors who have returned calls to students who had questions.

A similar event will be planned for spring.
