Joel Hartstack (pictured in photo above, at far right), of Clarinda, a May 2017 Southwestern Community College (SWCC) auto collision repair/refinish graduate, was named the country’s 2017 Collision Repair Technology Champion at the National SkillsUSA Championships in Louisville, KY, from June 18-23.

Students Place at State—Head to National Contest

CRESTON — Southwestern Community College auto collision repair/refinish student Shelby Woods and electrical technology student Daniel Leonard took home first place honors at the Iowa SkillsUSA 2016 competition in Ankeny on Fri., April 29, 2016. They will now represent Iowa at the national competition, which will be held during SkillsUSA’s National Leadership and Skills Conference, June 20-24, 2016, in Louisville, KY.
