High School Health ClassSouthwestern's health science Career Academy program allows high school students to explore health careers and earn articulation credit and/or concurrent credit in a health-related field.  Students earn CNA certification during Career Academy coursework.

Classes are held at locations throughout Region 14 in high schools including Creston, Leon, Mount Ayr, Osceola, Red Oak, and Southwest Valley.

HSC 110 Introduction to Health Occupations - 3 credits
HSC 114 Medical Terminology - 3 credits

HSC 172 Nurse Aide - 3 credits
