Southwestern's Workplace Learning Network (WLN), a member of the Iowa Intermediary Network, provides work-based learning activities to Region 14 through appropriated Iowa legislative funds. Through relevant pathway information and workplace exploration, students make connections to business and industry professionals to formulate and develop career goals.
WLN also assists educators and administrators with industry standards and regulations to enhance effective classroom curriculum to ensure students are career ready.
School districts served by Southwestern's Workplace Learning Network include the following: Bedford, Central Decatur, Clarke, Creston, Diagonal, East Union, Lamoni, Lenox, Mormon Trail, Mount Ayr, Murray, Nodaway Valley, Orient-Macksburg, Red Oak, Southwest Valley, and Stanton.
