Submit the following information (all documents must be translated into English):
Application for Admissions for International Students - Complete and submit the Southwestern Community College International Student Online Application for Admission.
Transcripts - Official records of attendance and transcripts for ALL schools, English language programs, and colleges attended.
Transcripts and other documentation must be translated into English. Any transcript issued in a language other than English must be evaluated by an agency such as the Education Credential Evaluators or InCred.
International Transfer Students -- Complete and submit the International Transfer-In Form, an official transcript from your current institution, copy of current visa, copy of I-20 and copy of I-94.
International Financial Statement - Financial verification showing your (or sponsor’s) ability to meet ALL educational and living expenses that you incur while attending Southwestern.Admissions Requirements - Please see the "Admissions Requirements" web page for details regarding transcripts, as well as college entrance testing information.
English Proficiency Form - You must show evidence of English proficiency required by the college.
The student must also submit:
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Exam by achieving a minimum score of 61 on the Internet-based test, 173 on the computer-based test, or 500 on the paper-based test; or
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System) academic module score of 6; or
- DUOLINGO minimum score of 85; or
- Successful completion of freshman level English course at an approved U.S. college or university.
