Business Office FAQ

Q - When are tuition and fees due?

A - Tuition and fees are due on or before the first day of the term. There are several payment options available.

Q - Who do I contact for questions on my student accounts bill?

A - The business office staff page will give you the name, telephone number and email account of the people who deal directly with student accounts.

Q - When will I receive my workstudy checks?

A - Timesheet due dates are listed in SWCCyou, and are approximately three days after the end of the pay period. Paychecks are available for pickup in the business office.

Students can turn in timesheets on the 15th and the last day of the month.  They are then paid on the 15th or last day of the month, depending on when they turned in the timesheets.  For example, if a student turns in their timesheet on the 15th of January, they will have a paycheck available on the last day of January.  If the student turns in their timesheet on the last day of January, they will have a paycheck available on the 15th of February.

Direct Deposit is available for workstudy paychecks, please see the Financial Aid Student Employment Specialist to enroll.

Q - Can I sign-up for direct deposit so my refunds will be sent directly to my bank account?

A - Yes! To sign up for direct deposit, log into your SWCCyou Portal account and have your bank information ready to enter. Click on the "Students" tab, "My Student Account Info," and "Submit Bank Info Here." If you have previously enrolled in direct deposit, the information is on file and no changes are needed. Refunds may include financial aid, as well as tuition and book buybacks.

If you have questions or wish to cancel your direct deposit information, please contact student accounts in the business office. The request to cancel must be in writing. Weekly cut-off for direct deposit enrollment is each Monday at 8 a.m. Direct deposits will be in bank accounts on Friday mornings.
