Modern versions of Microsoft Windows already have antivirus software built into the operating system (Windows Defender).  The following links are provided in case you want extra protection, or if you have a computer that you fear may already be infected.


The free version of Malwarebytes is an incredibly useful tool for removing infections that are already on your computer.

Trend Micro HouseCall

Trend Micro HouseCall is free online tool for checking whether your computer has been infected by viruses, spyware, or other malware. HouseCall performs additional security checks to identify and fix vulnerabilities to prevent reinfection.

All current Southwestern students are eligible to installed Microsoft Office on their computers for free.  You will need to be able to login to your SWCC email address.
