Southwestern reached a major milestone in 2026, achieving 60 years of operation. Since its inception, the college has served as a place where opportunity takes root – where students discover their potential and build professional connections within the community. Southwestern plays a significant role in building the skilled workforce its region needs to thrive. Today, the college stands at a pivotal moment in that shared journey. Following an informative feasibility study showing an impressive level of support for Southwestern, the college is embarking on a multi-year capital campaign to shape the institution’s future with the valuable assistance of all stakeholders.
The campaign reflects Southwestern’s deep commitment to student success, enrollment, and regional economic vitality. At its core, this effort recognizes when students succeed, the region’s communities prosper.
