The college’s third annual SWCC Week will be held November 18-22, 2013! Fun events are being planned for SWCC students throughout that week. Some of the events will include a dodge ball tournament, Call of Duty game night, and turkey bowling. See the complete agenda below to plan your week of fun!

ALL WEEK - Phi Theta Kappa's Thanksgiving Food Drive
Donations will be accepted throughout SWCC Week. Food donation boxes will be located in the Instructional Center main hallway, in the LRC (library), and in the Student Center. Non-perishable food items may be given. Keep in mind traditional Thanksgiving meal items such as stuffing mix, pumpkin, canned milk, green beans, mushroom soup, etc. when donating. Cash donations will be accepted for purchase of turkeys and fresh food items. Gifts of $1 or more will earn you a “turkey hand” to be posted in the halls of the Instructional Center.

Commit to complete your degree at SWCC during Phi Theta Kappa's Community College Completion Challenge (C4) on Mon., November 18, 8-9 a.m. in the Instructional Center, or 5:15-8 p.m. in the Student Center (during women’s and men’s basketball games); Tues., November 19, 8-9 a.m. in the Instructional Center; and Thurs. and Fri., November 21 and 22 at the Osceola Center.

The SWCC Theater Club is happy to entertain SWCC students, faculty, and staff with a fun-filled evening of improvisational comedy - or simply known as Improv! The same style of comedy is used by the show "Who's Line is it Anyway." For SWCC Week, the Drama Club will be performing an hour of comedy that will feature skits like: The Dating Game, Taxi Driver, Your News Program, and more! It’s SWCC Family FUN Night and it’s a BLUE OUT! Wear BLUE in support of autism awareness! Bring your SWCC ID and your family, and you’ll all get in FREE; cookie decorating for kids upstairs at halftime; The Dazzlers, SWCC’s drill team, will perform during the men’s half-time; and T-shirts and beach balls will be thrown out between games.
