Head over to the parking lot south of the Technical Center (near Spartan Suites) today between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to try your hand operating heavy equipment with a construction simulator! Today will be the last day the simulator is on campus.
The construction simulator, brought to campus through a Walmart Foundation grant, offers participants opportunities to operate equipment such as excavators or forklifts, as well as welding and running other construction equipment. There is no cost to participate!
Southwestern Community College's adult and continuing education department, in cooperation with IowaWORKS, brought the construction simulator to campus.
