SWCC students in transfer college T-shirts

High school and college students are invited to attend the Creston College Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, from 9:30–11 a.m., at the Creston High School Gymnasium, 601 West Townline Street, in Creston.

The Iowa Association for College Admissions Counseling (IACAC) and Southwestern Community College (SWCC) are hosting this event.  According to Deb Peterson, SWCC admissions representative and event coordinator, approximately 50 exhibitors—colleges, vocational/technical schools, military branches, etc.—will be on-hand to speak to students about opportunities for high school graduates.

Each year, the IACAC hosts more than 35 College Day/College Night programs throughout the state to provide a supportive environment for students to obtain information and appropriate counseling helpful in their college selection process.
