Southwestern Community College's high school carpentry and building trades Career Academy and Union County Habitat for Humanity hosted an Open House at their student-constructed home on Tues., May 24, from 6-7 p.m. The house is located at 310 S. Walnut Street in Creston.
This is the fifth year the college has completed a joint building project with Union County Habitat for Humanity. Next year's house will be constructed at 908 West Adair Street in Creston. The instructor for the program is Kyle Harvey (shown in photo, at right).
