Southwestern Community College is hosting a 2016 Regional Beginning Farmer and Military Veteran Workshop on Thurs., April 14, from 9-11:30 a.m., in room 180, of the Instructional Center. The objectives for the workshop are to raise awareness of programs that support beginning farmers and military veterans and identify program processes and points of contact.
Everyone is welcome to attend and invite others. Populations the topics might be most relevant to are ag lenders, attorneys, CPAs, farm management firms, farm coop managers, FSA staff, beginning and transitioning farmers, military veterans, FFA alumni, and ag students.
