Bring your friends this Friday night for a fun evening out and a chance to win prizes for just quarters! The SWCC Relay for Life team is hosting a Quarter Frenzy on Fri., June 3, at The Lobby, 301 W Adams Street, in Creston. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the Quarter Frenzy begins at 6:30 p.m. There is a $5 entry fee.
During the Quarter Frenzy, auction items (such as the Scentsy gift packages pictured at right) will be displayed. The emcee will give a description and value and tell how many quarters guests will need to bid on the item. Guests will present their bid to activate their paddles. When all bids are collected, the emcee draws a numbered chip and if your paddle number matches the number you win the prize.
All proceeds from this event will go to the SWCC Relay for Life effort. Each year, through the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life efforts more than 4 million people around the world come together to raise funds and awareness to save lives from cancer.
