This Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, more than 300 high school students and instructors will be on campus for the college’s annual Career & Technical Education (CTE) Day.
CTE Day provides a great opportunity for future Spartans to come to campus and learn about SWCC's career and technical education-related programs. There will be opportunities to participate in fun activities, demonstrations, and competitions all over campus. The MercyOne air ambulance will be landing in the parking lot north of the Administration Center at approximately 11:15 a.m., the Iowa State Cyclone Power Pullers Team will be outside of Technical Center II, and the automotive departments will be hosting an open house in the automotive area.
The Little Green Trailer will be serving all day in the main parking lot east of the Instructional Center and will be selling to the general public as well. It would be a great day to grab a lunch from them and check out all that is going on around campus.
