Students and employees from Southwestern Community College (SWCC) will be sprinkling happiness in Creston on Monday, April 17, from 8-10 a.m., at the Stalker Chevrolet corner (corner of Hwy 25 & Hwy 34) and on the SWCC campus from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
The Happiness Sprinkling Project, located in Anacortes, WA, has been in place since May 2012. As part of the project, a set of signs have been traveling from place to place, sprinkling happiness all over the world. While holding the signs, volunteers wear yellow shirts to assist with sending a positive message to all those who see. The signs contain cool messages to help brighten people’s spirits.
SWCC will be sprinkling happiness as a part of the college’s annual Pay it Forward (PIF) Week, which takes place from April 15-21, 2017. During PIF Week, SWCC students, faculty, and staff get involved by encouraging positive behaviors and service to the community.
