The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) club will be hosting its next meeting on Monday, March 26, 2018, at noon in the Allied Health & Science Center, room 916. This will be an informative meeting about NAMI with some upcoming goals being set. Anyone interested in NAMI is welcome to attend.
In addition, members of NAMI on Campus-SWCC will be participating in the National Eating Disorder Associations’ (NEDA) walk on April 28 in Iowa City. The SWCC NAMI club is covering the cost of registration for current NAMI members.
NAMI on Campus-SWCC is a student-led, student-run mental health awareness and advocacy club. Their mission is to raise the dialogue and break down the barriers associated with talking about mental health. The NAMI on Campus-SWCC sponsor is Keith Olsen.
