The Writing Center has announced its hours for spring 2018 semester. Beginning this Wednesday, Jan. 31, the center will host a writing workshop each Wednesday at 1 p.m., in the Instructional Center, room 140.
The first workshop, to be held on Jan. 31, 2018, will cover the basics of MLA/APA essay format for those who need to use it, but have not yet gotten to that material in their writing courses. Writing Center workshops will be 30-45 minutes in length and will include hands-on practice with the designated topic. Following the workshop, students are invited to stay if they would like to receive assistance with current assignments.
Dates and topics for future sessions will be sent out to students when the schedule is complete.
The Writing Center is hosted by English instructors Kelly Franklin and Stephen Jefferies.
