Students wishing to participate must complete the graduation application by March 10!

UPDATE: As of 3.17.21, the 2021 Commencement Ceremonies have been finalized and will take place as follows on Friday, April 30, 2021, in the Student Center gymnasium:

  • 11 a.m. - Licensed Practical Nursing Commencement and Lamplighting Recognition Ceremony
  • 2 p.m. - Career and Technical Education (CTE) Commencement Ceremony
  • 6 p.m. - Arts and Sciences (college transfer) Commencement Ceremony

Doors will open one hour prior to each ceremony. Graduates, please watch your SWCC email in the coming weeks for additional important information related to the day of graduation, including cap/gown pick-up, ticket information, arrival time, photographer information, etc. As a reminder, face coverings and social distancing will be required for all ceremonies

The registered nursing program ceremony will be announced at a later date.

To participate in a graduation ceremony, graduates MUST have their graduation application submitted by Wednesday, March 10. Graduates from fall 2020, spring 2021, and summer 2021 are invited to participate. The graduation application is located on the SWCCyou app. Once logged in, go to the "Students" tab and click on "Forms."

Face coverings and social distancing will be required for all ceremonies. Arts and sciences transfer program graduates will find out which ceremony (4 p.m. or 6 p.m.) they will be invited to attend following the March 10 graduation application deadline.

Tickets will be required for entry to each ceremony. Each graduate will receive four tickets to their commencement ceremony for family and friends.
