Southwestern Community College has a number of activities planned for students during Finals Week, May 2-6, 2022.
Creston campus
- Sunday, May 1 – Grill out, 6 p.m. – Patio of Spartan Suites. Chicken, Brats, Pork Loin, Burgers, Hotdogs, Pasta Salad, Coleslaw, Chips & Drinks.
- Monday, May 2 – Walking Tacos, 7-8 p.m. – Student Center
- Tuesday, May 3 – Dairy Queen Ice Cream Bars, 7-8 p.m. – Student Center
- Wednesday, May 4 - Stress Free Zone, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. – Student Center. Snacks – Food – Board Games – A place to come unwind!
Osceola Center
- Monday – Snack Bag (Students who have scheduled finals will receive a Snack Bag including chips, fruit, candy, etc.)
- Tuesday – Banana Splits – All the fixings and toppings for banana splits will be provided for students
- Wednesday – Walking tacos – All high school and college students are invited
- Thursday – BBQ
The Osceola Center will also have a “Stress Free Zone” for the students all week. They will have games, puzzles, and snacks for them to just take a moment to relax before, in-between, or after their finals!
