A new feature at the Spartan Cafe this year is the "daily short order" window, located in the main lobby area of the Student Center, across from the SWCC Shoppe entrance.
The short order window is open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. According to Dan Marcus of Consolidated Management, the window features various items students liked from past years, but were not practical to include in the Spartan Cafe's new all-you-can-eat option at lunchtime.
The short order window features a daily special Monday through Friday, and students are able to pay for items with their student IDs at the window. It also features quick to-go items.
Marcus said the window has been busy to start the school year, with approximately 75 students ordering from it on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
The Spartan Cafe features a new all-you-can-eat option during the 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. lunch period, in the main 'Caf. The all-you-can-eat option costs $12.50 and includes the salad bar, Main Event daily special, pasta station, stir fry, sweet treat dessert, and fountain drinks.
