The Creston VFW Post 1797 has donated a lighted flagpole and United States flag to the SWCC ag site, to be displayed near Green Valley Road. A flag dedication ceremony will take place on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at 10 a.m., during the first raising of the flag.
Southwestern administrators and Creston VFW members will be in attendance. The VFW Honor Guard will also be attending.
Southwestern employees, students, and the general public are invited to attend. The Southwestern ag site is approximately one-quarter mile north of the Creston campus on Green Valley Road.
