Southwestern Community College (SWCC) celebrated the opening of its newest facility, the Transportation Training Center, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 10 a.m.
SWCC Business & Community Development will offer a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training program at the center. This program is designed for individuals who want to obtain their Class A or B CDL. It will include online instruction, as well as hands-on training and testing. This program is recommended for those who have some experience driving larger vehicles and pulling trailers.
The Transportation Training Center is located adjacent to the Agricultural Sciences Center at the SWCC ag site, north of the SWCC Creston campus on Green Valley Road.
